What’s with that cool little case?

 

If you’ve never used CLEAR CARE® Solution before, the lens case might look a little strange. Here’s how it works.

How to use CLEAR CARE® Solution

 

Just follow these simple steps and you’ll be good to go.

Wash, rinse, and dry your hands.

Number 2 - contact lens hydrogen peroxide solution applied to top of lens basket with solution dripping from the bottom of basket

Place lenses in baskets and rinse 
for 5 seconds with solution.

Number 3 - contact lens solution squirting from bottle into case, filling up case

Fill the case to the fill line with the solution.

Put it all together and tighten the lid. Soak for at least 6 HOURS to neutralize.

 

WARNING! 

 

You MUST wait a full 6 hours for the solution to neutralize! If you don’t, you may hurt your eyes.

Always store the lid upside down to avoid contamination.

Drug Facts

    The CLEAR CARE® Cleaning & Disinfecting Solution (CLEAR CARE®) system consists of: CLEAR CARE® and the special CLEAR CARE® lens case (the lens case). The lens case consists of a transparent cup (the cup) and a connected unit of screw cap, lens holders (baskets) and the neutralizer catalyst disc attached at the bottom. CLEAR CARE® and the special lens case must always be used together.

    CLEAR CARE® Cleaning & Disinfecting Solution is a sterile solutioncontaining micro-filtered hydrogen peroxide 3%, sodium chloride 0.79%, stabilized with phosphonic acid, a phosphate buffered system, andPLURONIC® 17R4 (a cleaning agent).

    To ensure proper disinfection of your lenses you must follow the instructions completely. Do not skip any steps. Always wash and rinse yourhands before handling your lenses. This will help prevent eye infections by removing dirt and oils that could get on the lenses.

    Never put CLEAR CARE® Cleaning & Disinfecting Solution on your lenses and insert directly into the eye or burning and stinging will result. If spillage occurs, clean up immediately with a paper towel. Wash and rinse your hands before handling your lenses or touching your eyes.

     

    To clean, disinfect, neutralize, and remove protein from your soft contact lenses:

    • Remove and place each lens into the appropriately marked L/R domed lens holder.
    • Flip open the snap cap on the CLEAR CARE® bottle and bend it back and out of the way.
    • Rinse the lenses while on the domed lens holder for 5 seconds.
    • Fill the CLEAR CARE® lens case to the fill line with CLEAR CARE® solution and place the lens holder in the case.
    • Tighten the cap on the CLEAR CARE® lens case and store lenses for at least 6 hours. DO NOT SHAKE THE CASE.

     

    NOTE: To prevent damage to your lens, center the lens on the dome in the lens holder. Be sure the lens does not touch the basket rim, then close the basket lid. After soaking for six hours, your lenses are ready to wear. No final saline rinse is necessary. Never rinse your lenses with CLEAR CARE® Cleaning & Disinfecting Solution prior to insertion or burning and stinging will result. If desired, lenses can be rinsed with sterile saline before inserting. Discard the used CLEAR CARE® solution from the CLEAR CARE® lens case. Rinse the lens case with sterile saline or CLEAR CARE® solution and allow the case to air dry with the lens holder inverted outside the case. Do not place the lens holder on its side.

     

    FAQs
